Five launches in nine days, and the best deals we have listed
The release calendar wakes up. Five games land between September 14 and 22, and Graveyard Keeper 2 closes the run — a sequel to a game that took the farming-sim formula and made you run a cemetery instead.
None of them have reviews yet, so none of them get a verdict from us. We list what is coming and what genre it is; we do not guess whether it is good. Come back once there are enough reviews to mean anything.
The price section is where this issue earns its keep. Six games we have recommended hit their lowest since we started tracking in June. One is exactly half what it was, another close behind, and that second one is a 97% puzzle game almost nobody bought at full price. FTL came out on September 14, 2012 — fourteen years ago to the day this issue goes out — and is cheaper than it has ever been in our records.
Out this week
Dimraeth
Lands 15 Sep 2026 · Action · Adventure · RPG
Out September 14. Action RPG. No reviews yet, so no verdict from us — this is a heads-up, not a recommendation.
Out September 15. Action adventure built around multiplayer. Unreviewed at launch; worth a look once the first wave of players reports back.
Graveyard Keeper 2
Lands 22 Sep 2026 · Adventure · RPG · Simulation
September 22, and the one most worth waiting for here. The first game let you run a medieval cemetery with the rhythm of a farming sim and a much darker sense of humour. A sequel has a clear bar to clear.
SILENT HILL: Townfall

Back in the spotlight
Proven games — a year or more out, 88%+ on Steam — that currently sell cheap. Prices are live from the same database that powers ulov.gg.
Vampire Survivors
Released 20 Oct 2022 · Action · Casual · Indie
98% positive, one of the highest scores on Steam. Looks like a weekend project and has eaten more evenings than most full-price releases.
Risk of Rain 2
Released 11 Aug 2020 · Action · Indie
94% positive. Every run starts easy and ends with the screen unreadable. That curve is the whole game, alone or with friends.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Released 3 Dec 2019 · Action
92% positive. Six campaigns in one package. If you have never played Halo on PC, this is the only version worth starting with.
New lows among the games we recommended
Games from our guides, lists and verdicts that dropped to their cheapest price of the week we have on record. We have been recording prices since 11 June 2026, so that is as far back as the claim goes — each card shows the offer we saw and the day we saw it.
Transport Fever 2
Lowest since June 2026 · Casual · Indie · Simulation
90% positive, and exactly half what it was before this drop. A building game where the map slowly turns into a working country — the kind of evening that vanishes without warning.
Opus Magnum
Lowest since June 2026 · Indie · Simulation
97% positive and the best-reviewed thing in this issue. You build machines that solve puzzles, then rebuild them because yours was ugly. Almost nobody bought it at full price, which is the only unfair thing about it.
Monster Train
Lowest since June 2026 · Strategy
Portal 2
Lowest since June 2026 · Action · Adventure
Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition
Lowest since June 2026 · RPG
Sun Haven
Lowest since June 2026 · Adventure · Casual · Indie
81% positive — the lowest score here, and the honest reason is that it does many things adequately rather than one thing well. A farming game with combat and magic, if Stardew left you wanting more systems.
