Skip or Play answers one question: what should I play next?We rank alternatives, curate lists, and run a recommender over a catalogue of 33,000+ PC games — and we name the ones to skip, which is the part most recommendation sites leave out.

Methodology

Every list on this site follows the same rules:

• Written by a person — the author of ulov.gg. Rankings and the “why” sentences are editorial. The recommender matches on shared genres and player reception — it never invents a match percentage, because we could not honestly compute one.
• Reception data comes from Steam reviews (percentage and summary), read from the same database that powers ulov.gg.
• “Skip” entries are part of the service. A skip is never “this game is bad” — it says who should skip it and what to pick instead.
• Finished games only. No early-access placeholders on curated lists.
• Price claims are conservative. Our price history starts 11 June 2026, so the strongest claim you will ever read here is “lowest since June 2026” — never “lowest ever”.

What we deliberately do not show

• No price comparison tables — one lowest price and one link is all you get here; the full comparison lives on ulov.gg.
• No match percentages, star ratings, or scores out of ten on our picks.
• No data we do not have: you will not find Steam Deck badges, playtime estimates, or subscription-service status here, because our database does not track them and we will not guess.

Where the prices come from

Every price link here opens ulov.gg, a PC game key price comparison site built by the same author. ulov.gg is the commercial half of the pair: it earns standard affiliate commission when a store sells a key. Skip or Play itself carries no affiliate links, no ads and no paid placements — no ranking and no skip verdict on this site is for sale.
